Chapter 22

A month passed. Yash got busy with his office and doing some paperwork to shift to India but one thing doesn't change that is him calling Aarti every now and then for every little conversation but they still miss each other touch, smell, and that feel of being together. Both are waiting for that one day when they are gonna meet just to run into each other's arms.

"You know, nowadays I'm fantasizing about you a lot," Yash said, only to hear a gasp from Aarti. He laughed.

"You look hot in my dreams." He shamelessly tells which makes Aarti blush so hard.

"Oh how I wish I could kiss your red cheeks." He continued to make her shy.

"Yash please" She whine trying to control her own heart, because her hormones are also high these days which made her dreams of Yash in erotic way, but unlike him she will die instead of voicing it out to him.

"Tell me I'm not the only one getting desperate" He flirted with her. She turned in her bed smiling with herself.

"Baby" Yash called her lovingly to find her silent, he knew her very well. He can imagine her beautiful face turning pink right now.

"Okay I'm sleepy, you're coming in my dream right?" He can't help from teasing her.

"Yash" she tried hard to sound angry but it came out like a sweet moan.

"Ok good night" He wished ever so lovingly.

"Sweet dreams." She smiled.

"About you?" He chuckled softly. She shied and cut the call. Yash laughed at his shy girl.

Next day Gayatri shocks Aarti by showing a boy picture for her rishta. Aarti doesn't know how to tell her that she loves Yash.

"The boy's family is coming tomorrow to see you." She says. Aarti's eyes widened.

"Maa I love Yash." Aarti said gathering courage, and closed her eyes tightly. Gayatri looked at her stunned. Then she got angry.

"How can you trust him, he is a rich guy, maybe he likes you but he won't marry you" Gayatri tries to make her understand.

"Yash aise nahi hain." Aarti said, a tear fell from her eye seeing that her mother doesn't trust Yash.

"Beta you're so innocent, I know that he helped you a lot but try to understand you both don't belong together" Gayatri says in concern, thinking he knows about Aarti's past, how can he accept a girl like her.

"Did you both ever…kya kabhi tum dono ke beech kuch hua?" Gayatri asked without any delay. Aarti looked at her getting hurt with her question.

"Answer me Aarti, did you sleep with Yash?" She harshly held Aarti's arms and shook her.

"No" Aarti cries. Gayatri's hold softened on her in relief, that at least they don't share an intimate relationship.

"Swear on me Aarti you won't tell Yash anything, I know you talk to him everyday" Gayatri keeps Aarti hand on her head. Aarti cried, feeling helpless.

Meanwhile Yash landed in Bhopal and smiled thinking of surprising Aarti with his sudden arrival. Yash reached Scindia mansion and Suraj was really happy to see him. Yash took a rest as it was already evening.

"Can't wait to meet you" Yash thought looking at his mobile, he wanted to just call Aarti now and tell her that he is here in Bhopal but also don't want to miss to see her face, that happiness of seeing him suddenly.

Next morning Yash gets ready delightfully, he wears Aarti fav colour. He feels so excited to see her.

At Aarti's home Gayatri was happily waiting for the boy's family to arrive.

"Beta you're looking so beautiful" Gayatri smiled putting a kajal ka teeka behind Aarti's ear as she sat in front of the dressing table. A taxi horn catches Gayatri's attention.

"Lagta hai woh aagye." she went out. Aarti looked at herself in the mirror and a lone tear rolled down her cheek.

Meanwhile Yash excitedly enters Aarti house only to find some unknown people there. Gayatri gets surprised to see him there. Aarti is still unaware of his presence, she is sitting there like a lifeless body, the thought of betraying Yash killing her from within.

"Gayatri ji hume aapki Aarti bahut pasand hai" the boy's mother says, shocking Yash.

"Maa ji what is happening here?" Yash somehow asked, holding back his anger. His voice brought Aarti to reality, she looked at him with happy moist eyes, can't believe that he is here when she need him the most. Gayatri doesn't have words.

"Aarti" Yash roared in rage. Boy and his family looked at him, totally puzzled by his authority. They asked him who he is and what he is doing here.

"Yash" Aarti came near him. The boy looked at her and asked how she knew him. Aarti doesn't even move her gaze from Yash. After all she waited for this moment for a month, to see her Yash again.

"I love her" Yash tells loud and clear, shocking everybody including Gayatri even though she knows but hearing from him somewhere makes her feel bad recalling how she is trying to separate them. The boy's mother got angry.

"Leave." Yash pointed at the door. Gayatri stood there silent as the boy's family said some mean things, they left in anger for keeping them in dark.

"Why?" Yash looked at Aarti feeling hurt. She bend head in guilt. Her silence upset him more.

"Beta I know you did so much for my daughter but please I don't want you to again meet her" Gayatri folded hands. Yash does not understand why she doesn't like him.

"Aarti please speak" He looked at Aarti but she stayed silent.

"I told you she doesn't want to do anything with you" Gayatri again reminded Yash which hurt him. He was left heartbroken. Aarti turned to look at him as he stormed out.

"Kyun maa, kya kar rahi ho yeh aap?" She cried.

"Why do you still think that he doesn't love me? Can't you see that longing in his eyes, can't you see pain when you told him that i don't love him?" She sat on the floor close to her legs.

"Please don't do this, I'll die." she hugged her legs. Gayatri was shocked seeing Aarti so broken.

"Itna pyaar karti ho Yash se?" Gayatri pulls Aarti up holding her shoulder. She didn't speak and was just crying thinking that he come here to surprise her and what she did to him.

"I'm sorry beta, par main bhi kya karti, ek maa ka dil hai na. You will understand me when you become a mother" Gayatri hugged her feeling guilty.

"Jao, Yash ko manalo" she cupped Aarti's cheeks. Aarti looked at her surprised.

"Yes, go." Gayatri smiled at her, cleaning her face. Aarti smiled with her moist eyes.
