Author's Note: I began writing this continuation nearly eighteen years ago and left it unfinished. In the years since, countless new shows and characters have appeared on Indian television. Yet some stories remain. For me, Special Squad was one of them. It was one of the last shows I truly followed before I stepped away from television entirely. Perhaps that is why these characters stayed with me — not only the ones we saw on screen, but also the ones I created in my own continuation. This story is written for the love of writing and for the attachment I still feel toward this world. The narrative style is descriptive and detailed; scenes unfold slowly, emotions are explored deeply, and relationships are given space to breathe. The investigative cases are inspired by various novels, articles, and films, adapted into the Special Squad universe purely for creative storytelling.
