Chapter 20

Aww thank you so much! That was so sweet guys! And just4cool, you'll find you're answers soon! I noticed that there is no kyuni update today so I'm going to do a special Valentine update on both of the couples. It's going to be longer too, I think. So you will get the Isha-Eklavya's Valentine's Day and also Manthan-Nisha's Valentine's Day And finally HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL!

Part 21: Valentine's Day

     It was finally Valentine's Day, and Eklavya was completely ready to confess to Isha. He had been really close to telling her the day before but hadn't told her completely. Today was the best day to tell her, he thought to himself. He had a special surprise for her. He took the gift bag and dropped it off at Archita's bedroom door. Since there was a huge party at Shantineketan as usual, Archita had invited the two twin sisters to the party. He smiled as he left the gift bag containing his special surprise at the doorway. He knocked slightly and quickly ran off to his room.

I: Come in!

     Isha was having the worst fashion crisis and she had chosen the worst day for it as well – Valentine's Day! She was sure she had heard someone knock on the door but nobody came in. She went opened Archita's door and saw a gift bag lying there. She grabbed it and put it on Archita's bed, not noticing that it was actually addressed to her. She sat back on Archita's dresser and looked at the dresses she had brought from home. Archita came in and saw her entire bedroom completely covered with dresses, purses, sandals, stilettos, hand bags, make up and everything else she could think of.

A: Isha, what happened here?!
I: Oh, Archie, I'm so sorry, I really wanted to wear something special this Valentine's Day but I kinda ended up ruining your room.
R: Par, all these dresses are fine! Just wear anything! You'll look great; you always do!

     Isha sighed. Nobody understood, she didn't even completely understand why she was doing all this. She wanted to tell Eklavya how she felt about him and she wanted to look like his dream girl. All these dresses were fine but she didn't think Eklavya would personally see his dream girl in any of these. Maybe Archita would know, after all, she was Eklavya's cousin.

I: Archita?
A: Hmm?
I: Say a guy like ummm Eklavya saw his dream girl on Valentine's Day? What do you think she'd be wearing?
A: Why are you asking this?
I: Ummm…Curiosity?
A: You like Eklavya bhaiya? Oh my God! You do! EKLAVYA-
I: Shut up! I'm going to tell him today…
A: Oh so this is what it's all about…Umm why don't you wear this?

     Archita got the gift bag and lifted a perfect pink saree out of the gift box. She realized it had Isha's name on it and told her that. Isha dropped everything and looked at awe towards the saree.

I: Yess! Oh, my gosh, this is perfect! Thanks Archita!
A: No problem, you have fun, I'm going downstairs to the party. Bye

     Isha closed the door after Archita went and went to change into the saree. Now this was the tricky part for her. She had never worn a saree in her entire life. She took the halter neck blouse and put it on without tying the strings behind her neck. She remembered her sister had worn a saree once before and she had helped her out. She slowly put the saree on while wondering who sent her the saree. Finally when she was done, she wore a sophisticated baby pink necklace and earings with the beautiful pink saree. She realized she hadn't tied the strings at the back of her neck and went to tie it up. She was clearly struggling with it unable to tie it properly

     Outside Archita's room, Eklavya paced around wondering if Isha had worn the saree or not. He had spent his entire weekend looking for the perfect gift for her and had thought the saree was perfect. But he had never considered what would happen if Isha didn't like the saree. He slowly opened Archita's door and went inside to see Isha muttering to herself and struggling with the blouse strings at the back of her neck. He stood there, smiling to himself stupidly at the fact that she had accepted his gift. Isha hadn't seen him come in and was still struggling with the blouse's dorie.

I: Stupid dorie! Ladkiya roz roz yeh kaise pehenti hai?

     Eklavya knew she was talking to herself but went right behind her very stealthily and tied the dorie on her back. "Aise…" he said. Isha didn't need to turn around to know that it was Eklavya. Every time he touched her, shivers went through her which was exactly what was happening to her right now. She got up and looked at the mirror in front of her to see Eklavya holding her shoulders. He looked so perfect to her.

E: Perfect…
I: hmm?
E: Actually just one thing missing.

     Eklavya got a small bindi from Archita's make up box and put it on Isha's forehead.
E: Now you look perfect. Do you like the saree?
I: Yes – Wait you mean? You send it to me? Oh, Eklavya, that's so sweet! Thank you so much, it's gorgeous
E: Not as much as you, though. Isha, will you come somewhere with me? It's a very special place. Please?

     How could any sane girl could possibly refuse to that, Isha thought to herself. She smiled and nodded her head. Whatever the special place was, she was surely going to tell him how she felt about him there.
