Chapter 20

Armaan was touching her bare waist, Mehak knew that it could all lead to something she doesn't intend on. She knew saying no would not help, she knew she had to act smart to stop him with her wit.

Mehak brought her hand and kept it on his cheek and finally broke the kiss. She said that they always fooled around but never crossed the limit because they always wanted to make their first time post wedding special. Armaan stopped and looked at her.

Mehak continued emotionally that she hoped that they actually get married this time, whatever happens. Armaan got emotional too and said she was right. He said he ll get married to her no matter what because he loved her so much. They sat in the the woods for sometime and then they proceeded back to their places. Armaan dropped Mehak first and then proceeded to his place. 

Mehak opened her flat from her spare keys and got in. The Bhallas sat there. She wasn't really in for any confrontation because no matter how much she prepared herself she wasn't ready for this. Kanta, Nehal & Jeevan just scolded Mehak. Aman was trying to get everything under control but he alone wasn't able to do anything. Bhallas broke all ties with Mehak, she didn't react much. As they exited the Sharma's entered. Her so called Uncle, Aunt and good for nothing cousin Mohit. They were extra sweet to her and tried to mend their relationship. Mehak very easily accepted. Next they asked her to go back home with them, she politely refused and said that she would move back home sometime later so that they could do her Bidaai from there. They went back thinking she had forgiven them.

On the other side Armaan's parents were already convinced as it was all happening as a part of a plan. Shruti was really happy because she knew that her father would get his way but first it was important to save them all from exposure that would have been inevitable if Harsh's concentration from them was not removed. Now all his concentration was supposed to be on his heartbroken son. Shruti's dad had promised her that Mehak won't live to see her first anniversary and then she ll soon replace him to repair Armaan's broken heart.

She sat back and let herself cry. Her cries were loud and painful. She had to let out her pain because she not only gave pain to her live but she also had to pretend to be in live with someone else so that she could carefully but strongly build a story on which everyone trusts and give her the details or rather she discovers some of the details on what they are upto. 

Everyone was involved-her family, his family, him, big businessmen and a bollywood producer and director too.

When she let out her agony, she changed and went on to sleep. She had to get up early for her early morning walk. When she was on the wheel chair for 2 years she gained 15kgs but she was adamant to loose it all for "being same" for Armaan again so that again they come closer. She had already lost 5 but then she wasn't doing it for him. It happened because of her daily activity in the doctor's office.

Gradually a month passed, her wedding date was approaching.

Shaurya never approached her, she didn't think he would leave her this easy but then she thought maybe she gave him a bit too much pain to handle. She even thought it was better that he forgets her completely because she might even not make it because after she exposes the people she was after, some of their associate would definitely kill her. She didn't mind dieing but she did mind not getting a chance to live with him.

It was late at night and she had just came back from work at the Bride Stories to which she wanted to give sometime before she goes. She has a long day and just wanted to hit the bed. She wasn't sleeping more then 3-4 hrs daily even despite the sleeping pills she took. 

She went in to change and came back with a pair of shorts and a tank top. She removed her undergarments to be comfortable. She was going to her bed when she felt that there was someone in her house which was strange because she was living alone since Sheetal was fired and Nehal was just too mad at her. She got up to see who it was.

It was Shaurya, he was very drunk, but yet not enough to forget the pain she had given him. Well her condition was same too as she too had been in pain all this while however hard she tried to forget it all. Even she wanted a happily ever after but it just didn't happen. 

Shaurya immediately upon seeing her charged towards her and pinned her against the wall, she was suddenly very aware of her body and his too. He was pressed tight against her body and was looking in her eyes with his face full of anger but yet his eyes which still showed love and hope that she might return to him and it was all a big joke.

"I know Mehak, I know...you don't love him...you know it too, you love me babe, you love me. I know I might have proposed too soon and maybe I made you a little nervous or uncomfortable and thus you went with him. I know you love me...I know damn it. Just say it once Mehak and I promise I turn this world upside down to mend the situation, I ll handle everything."

 He was coming even closer to her if that was even possible. It was as if he was making her merge with himself. Shaurya when seeked no answer from her slammed his lips on her, it was nothing smooth or soft, it was full of need. Mehak was kissing him back to...they were equally into that kiss, taking turns to dominate, Shaurya's hands that were holding her hands above her hands released her and went to the strap of her tank top, in a swift motion he dragged the straps of her  top...he was feeling her up when she realised that someone else was there too. She quickly collected herself and pushed him away. She wasn't that strong but he got pushed away because he wasn't expecting a blow. She adjusted her top and then threw him out of her apartment, she wasn't wrong...his bodyguard was there...Mandaar, she didn't know if he was involved with the bad guys or not or if he was just doing his duty but she acted as if she was really enraged and asked him to take Shaurya before she makes a call to her fiance and the police. 

He heard her and was seeing her swollen lips and dress which wasn't doing a good job. She felt like punching the guy but she just turned and shut the door real hard on their faces. She made some footsteps as if going in but in reality she stood there to see what happens next. 

She was right, the ba****d was with those leches. He called Armaan and told that he followed Shaurya here and she was really into Armaan and Shaurya was kicked out. She was scared for his life but then she knew all about Shaurya and she knew he would handle himself and even he doesn't...Harish uncle would. 

She waited for exactly 5 minutes before calling Armaan and saying that she couldn't wait for another two weeks before the wedding functions start and they should kickstart everything in 2 days and that she didn't want to wait any longer. She even told how Shaurya barged in her house ...she obviously changed the details. 

Armaan bad mouthed Shaurya and said that he should be sent to jail. Mehak denied and said that it happened only because he was drunk otherwise he was away for over a month. He started getting suspicious and asked her if she was defending him...she clearly denied and said that he wasn't a bad boy and stood beside her in difficult times and he as her fiance should not repay the helper guy like that.

She even said mean things about Shaurya. It pinched her heart and squeezed her gut but she still said that he couldn't digest that a girl could reject him and was just trying to prove his masculinity and she was okay because she was someone clearly better. She was able to convince him but she was very disturbed.
