Yash Dasgupta who played the grey character of Ketan Sanghwi in NDTV Imagine's Basera is the new entrant in Imagine's Bandini which has recently taken a leap of 10 years.
Our readers would remember that Telly Buzz had earlier reported about Abigail Jain and Hritu Dhudani playing the elder versions of Birwa and Monghi respectively.
The latest is that Yash Dasgupta has been roped in to play the youngest son of Dharamraj Mahiavanshi (Ronit Roy), Suraj.
When contacted, Yash confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I play the youngest son in the family, Sooraj. My entry is to be aired tonight. Mine is a very fun loving character and extremely positive, unlike my last character in Basera of Ketan Sanghvi".
The actor is extremely happy for yet another reason. "After getting a celebrity papa like Ram Kapoor in Basera, now I get the honour of working with yet another popular celebrity in Ronit Roy. The working experience has been really good, and I am looking forward to playing this role".
The actor's entry will be aired tonight...
