When I told her, she was shocked and said, ‘Mom, are you crazy?’ But I told her, ‘Think about it, how many mothers even talk about these things openly?’” she shared.

The actress went on to explain that her own upbringing lacked such open conversations, which is why she didn’t want her daughter to go through the same. “I want her to experience everything life has to offer, not miss out on important aspects like many women do,” Gautami said, adding that now, at 19, Sia appreciates her mother’s openness and honesty.

The actor made headlines for his noticeable weight loss, with rumors swirling around the use of Ozempic, a drug often associated with rapid weight loss. “People only see the result, not the struggle behind it,” she noted. “Our daughter Sia actually began her fitness journey before Ram. Watching her work so hard on herself pushed him to take that first step. I’m proud of him, he went through a lot mentally, emotionally, and physically.”
