Just a few days back ALTBalaji released the first look of their latest web offering Gandii Baat - Urban Stories from Rural India. The first look came across as very quirky and raw.

The show that has actors Rohit Choudhary (Naagin 3), Vikas Verma, Rajesh Tripathi, Mrinalini Tyagi, Anant Joshi and Neetha Shetty among others, will also act as the degital debut of actress Narayani Shastri.

Narayani was last seen in Star Plus' Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, has worked in the past with Ekta in shows like Kkusum and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

The trailer of Gandii Baat is dark and edgy. And one look at the trailer and the show, is sure to get your heart and pulse to throb faster. The show will explore unusual stories from the rural parts of India and has been shot at real locations.

Be it the cast, the costumes or the locations, the look and feel of the show is quite authentic and rustic. Each episode will tell a different story about relationships and taboos. It will explore topics that exist in every section of the society but are never spoken about or discussed openly.

The web series that will feature on Alt Balaji, will be Directed by Sachin Mohite, who has directed Savdhaan India before.
