Kiara Advani has stormed her way to the top and she has finally carved a space for herself in the Bollywood. She has contoured herself to be Bollywood’s prominent actress with her performances. With no filmy background, Kiara is rightfully called the Dharma girl who struggled for a place under the arc lights in the industry. Living the dream, her career has finally set at the right momentum as she is reportedly being offered with some of the biggest scripts in the industry.
However, Dharma’s head-honcho Karan Johar does not seem to be happy with her success. As the reports in Bollywood Hungama suggested that Karan Johar’s forthcoming comedy Mr Lele directed by Shashank Khaitan was offered to Kiara Advani. But, considering her pre-decided work schedule, Kiara couldn’t find the time to accommodate the film and she had to turn down the offer.
Johar is known to be a Bollywood Mogul and many dream of working with him and his production. However, a source close to the development defended Kiara’s inability to oblige her mentor.
“Kiara is now as much a Dharma girl as Janhvi. But she has to complete Laxmmi Bomb with Akshay Kumar and Indoo Ki Jawani with producer Nikhil Advani. Her dates for these assignments clashed with Dharma’s Mr Lele. No hard feelings. She will have many opportunities to do other films with Dharma productions,” says the source.
As luck would have it, Kiara has not only turned down Karan Johar’s offer, but she has also denied Mohit Suri’s offer. He wanted to cast Kiara with John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur in the sequel of Ek Villain, although she does not seem to be interested.
