#WhatIf: These Indian TV shows were to add an ICONIC character to the cast

It would add its own touch of humour and drama to the show indeed.

Indian Television has been instrumental in bringing to the viewers not just some of the iconic shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Remix, and many others, but also characters that none of us would ever forget.

And, we thought about how the stories of current TV shows would take an interesting turn if we were to add some of those iconic characters to them. So, in yet another of our What if features, here we bring to you a list of shows coupled with new a new character in them!

Barun Sobti aka Arnav Singh Raizada in Ishqbaaaz

Arnav Singh Raizada and Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) have temperaments that are quite the same. While there is indeed no doubt that they have great chemistry with their partners, we wonder how would it be like to see the kind of camaraderie that the two of them share with each other. Arnav's entry into the Oberoi mansion as Anika's (Surbhi Chandna) ex-lover would add quite some fun to the story, wouldn't it? After all, we've seen Shivaay's ex Malika (Surbhi Jyoti), now it's time for Anika to have the upper hand!

Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

The Bhalla parivaar is struct with yet another adversity as there is a lot happening in the show. While Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) is extremely worried about crisis that keeps occurring and some drama that never ceases to puzzle us, ACP Pradyuman could bring all the gadbad in the house to a rest!

Smriti Irani aka Tulsi in Naagin 3

The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi character, Tulsi is so fit for a fantasy series that we wonder how it didn't happen earlier. Tulsi will blend right into the Sehgal family and judge Poulomi Roy alongside Sumitra Sehgal. She fits into the big grand family and can make for a great plot device. How you ask? We can simply have her as one of the victims of Vish's attacks and watch her come back to life to tell the tale all the way from her death bed. *Dramatic music plays in the background*

Urvashi Dholakia aka Komolika in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

We think Popatlal has been single for a really long time now, and if we were to get him a wife, we think Komolika could do complete justice to it. If you ask why, well, there's got to be some evilness and a badass character in the Gokuldham society. It has been goodie goodie for too long now!

Mona Singh aka Jassi in Bepannaah

It would be a reunion for Apurva Agnihotri and Mona Jaswir Singh if the former was to play the latter's love interest in the show. With so much of seriousness and dark shades to Rajveer's character, we think he could use some love, can't he?

Priya Wal aka Ashi in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka

Nandini (Drashti Dhami) is having one of the toughest times with Rajdeep (Abhinav Shukla) and while Kunal (Shakti Arora) or Mauli (Aditi Sharma) for that matter are trying their bit to help, we need a real fighter to deal with her cause. For once, if Nandini can manage to speak up in front of Ashi, there's no stopping the latter from getting her out of this mess, and if that's not enough, make life a living hell for Rajdeep.

The magic pencil from Shaka Laka Boom Boom in Kumkum Bhagya

In the longest time, none of us have ever understood what is all the fantasy about two women wanting to have Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) as their husband. And, we thought what better than put an end to the entire saga by just getting them another Abhi? Let the magic pencil come to their rescue, and someone could just trace Abhi out for them. The four of them, Abhi, his doppelganger, Pragya (Sriti Jha), and Tanu (Leena Jumani) can then live happily ever after!
