The television industry waits for Wednesday – The judgment day. Along with a good fan following, the fate of a television show is dependent on the numbers it gets on this day. The TAM ratings were pulled off few months ago for digitization of four cities. The TRP race began once again from mid-December and a few changes in the TRP trend were easily noticeable.Today again is the judgment day but the TAM sheet goes missing. Reason? The TAM sheets will be releasing tomorrow i.e. is on Thursday with the inclusion of markets of MP, UP, Punjab and Rajasthan. This may bring out some twist in this number game. Tellybuzz spoke to some of the producers of the industry to know if they are expecting some shocking results for tomorrow or not?
The man behind Diya Aur Baati Hum and Punar Vivah, Sumeet Mittal feels, "It can definitely bring out some surprises and we waiting for it. It's a good thing that we will be reaching out to more audience. We are going to boost if we are doing good and if we won't get good numbers, then we will think over what we are lacking. Being a positive person and since Diya Aur Baati Hum and Punar Vivah are doing well on television, I am expecting good numbers for them."Producer of Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Saurabh Tiwari said, "Yes, I definitely feel that there should be some surprises. TAM meters are being set up on a wide scale and its market is increasing. So, obviously we might get to see some unexpected things in it. I am happy that Madhubala managed to hold a good position in the rating list post digitization. According to the feedback I keep on getting, the craze of Madhubala is more inclined towards bigger cities and the new cities which have been added in the revised rating list are not very Madhubala or Colors oriented cities. So, Madhubala will have to fight it out."
Well, let's see how the inclusion of few more cities in the digitization arena will affect the numbers of our favorite shows.
