Vikram Kumar gets engaged, to marry in September

Filmmaker Vikram Kumar, best known for helming Suriya-starrer Tamil thriller "24", got engaged to 27-year old sound designer Srinidhi Venkatesh on Sunday at a private ceremony here.

"It was while working on '24' they first met and by the time they wrapped up the project, they grew fond of each other. They get engaged in a close-knit ceremony on Sunday and are planning to get married in September," a source close to Vikram told IANS.

Srinidhi works as a sound designer with double Oscar-winning composer A.R Rahman, who composed the music for "24".

Vikram will now only work on his next project after the wedding. He's most likely to team up with actor Allu Arjun for a medical thriller.
