Vikram Kapadia and Nandita Puri in Rajan Shahi's next on Star One

TellyBuzz was the first to break the news of Rajan Shahi's new show for Star One after its revamp which was tentatively titled Amrit Dhara. The show which is now renamed as Amrit Manthan with a story which will deal with the life of two sisters and their family.

We had also reported that Adaaa Khan and Waseem Mushtaq will play the main leads in the show.

The most recent development we hear is that Vikram Kapadia who portrayed a prominent role in Star Plus' K Street Pali Hill and Nandita Puri who was seen in Zee TV's Maayka - Saath Zindagi Bhar Ka will play important characters in Amrit Manthan.

A source says, "Vikram and Nandita will be essaying parents to the female leads in the show."

Vikram Kapadia has also worked for the screenplay in Sony TV's popular shows by YRF, Khhote Sikkey and Kismat.

When TellyBuzz contacted Vikram, he said, "Yes, I am playing an important character in the show, but I cannot reveal anything further."

We tried to contact Producer Rajan Shahi, but he wished not to comment.

We also hear that the shoot of the show will start by mid August.
