Well-known Telugu actor Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away on Friday morning at his home in Hyderabad. He suffered from an disease that happens in old age. He was 87.

Well-known Telugu actor Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away on Friday morning at his home in Hyderabad. He suffered from diseases that happen in the old age. He was 87. In addition to his wife, Sathyanarayana is survived by two boys and two daughters. Sathyanarayan performed a wide range of characters during the course of a career spanning more than five decades and over 750 films. He was well-known for his work as a character artist, villain, and hero.
A number of movie stars tweeted their condolences following the renowned actor's passing.
Ram Charan tweeted, “Deeply saddened to hear the demise of Kaikala Satyanarayana Garu.. His contribution to our film industry will be remembered forever! May his soul rest in peace (sic).”
Filmmaker Anil Ravipudi tweeted: “Saddened to hear about the passing away of legendary actor Kaikala Satyanarayana garu. He was one of the rarest acting personalities who can breathe life into any character. May his family find peace & strength in this hour of grief! Om shanti (sic).”
Chiranjeevi shared a note in Telugu when translated read, "Rest in peace Navarasa Natana Sarvabhouma. Sri Kaikala Satyanarayana garu (sic).”
In July, he had visited to his house to wish him a happy birthday. He also was present during the cake-cutting ceremony. He had posted on Twitter, sharing images from the day, “It was sheer happiness visiting our Navarasa Natana Sarvabhouma Kaikala Satyanarayana garu and recalling some great moments down memory lane!! Here’s wishing him a very Happy Birthday. May the Almighty grant Kaikala Satyanarayana garu good health and joyous time with family and friends for many many years to come."
Sathyanarayana appeared in both contemporary and mythological films and took on a variety of roles. His best movies include Raitu Bidda, Nirdoshi, Bhale Rangadu, Sampoorna Ramayanam, and Pandava Vanavasam.
