Varun reveals he was scared to ride the bike due to Shoojit Sircar

The actor has collaborated for the first time with the filmmaker Shoojit Sircar. The film will also mark the debut of actress Banita Sandhu who has worked with Shoojit Sircar in an ad. However, in one of the shots, Varun who plays the role of Danish was asked to ride a bike as a means of transportation throughout the film.

Reportedly, he was also required to ride a bike for 3 hours non-stop on the Delhi Highway in the peak of winter while shooting. While he knew the basics of how to ride a bike, Varun was very nervous as he had never ridden a bike on a highway and alone on the roads of Delhi.

On the other hand, Varun stated to a daily, "I was riding a bike on the highway for the first time and that too at 4 am. Shoojitda wanted a long journey so I was riding for a good three hours in the winter with trucks going past me. I was scared but I didn't want to disappoint him and also didn't want a stuntman to do the shot."

Meanwhile, Varun is currently busy promoting the film. "October" is set to release on April 13, 2018.
