Varun Dhawan will be turning a year older on April 24. While the entire nation is facing a lockdown in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus, the actor will not be able to celebrate his birthday with his friends and special ones.
But need no worry as Varun’s family is planning a virtual birthday party for him. Yes, that’s right! The actor is currently in quarantine with his parents, David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan, brother Rohit along with his sister in law and niece. Due to the lockdown, VD is far away from his lady love Natasha Dalal, however, his industry friends Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt among others are reported to join his virtual celebrations.
A source close to Varun told Bollywood Hungama, “Luckily for him, Varun is with his parents, brother, sister-in-law and little niece. So they can have a family get-together for his birthday. Varun’s friends would just have to be with him virtually.”

The team of Coolie No.1 also rescheduled their trailer release due to the Coronavirus outburst in the nation. The entire country is facing a lockdown, and even the film industry is stalled.
Many other big banner movies have already postponed their film’s release. Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was initially slated to release on 24th March, but the release has now been pushed further. Kabir Khan sports drama ’83 starring Ranveer Singh has also ditched their original release date.
There were also rumours that the actor may tie the holy knot with his girlfriend Natasha in May. However, owing to the current scenario, all plans seem intermittent.

Okay, so? I'd rather donate food & money for COVID19 related causes on my birthday rather than celebrating a bday.
