The release date of Nitesh Tiwari's (Dangal and Chhichhore) new film "Bawaal," starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, has been postponed. The decision was made by the film's producers, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, because of the VFX and technical requirements. According to sources, "Bawaal" was shot in Poland using specialised technology and is ambitious in its onscreen presentation.

The film's director Nitesh Tiwari has revealed, that the visual finesse they want to achieve on the sequences will need more time than they have expected. He also said that they don’t want to cut short at anything because their purpose is to bring nothing but the best version of their vision to our viewers.

Talking about the film, Bawaal was slated to release on April 7 this year, but now with the revised schedule, the film is expected to release later on in the year. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is expected to make an official announcement later on.

Apart from having been shot in India, the film was also shot at international locations like Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam and Krakow. According to reports, the elaborate action sequences had also employed more than 700 German stuntmen and technicians.
