Varun Dhawan Reveals How Ranbir Kapoor and Brother Rohit Dhawan Gang Up to Bully Him

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, known for his candid nature and sense of humor, recently opened up about being hilariously “bullied” by his elder brother Rohit Dhawan and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Sharing the anecdote during an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia on The Ranveer Show, Varun explained how the duo’s dynamic shifts when they’re together.

“Unka yeh bada hai ki mujhe bully karte hai jab saath mein hote hai. Ranbir jab akela hota hai tab bahut ache hai mere saath par jab mere bhai ke saath hai tab he is also in that elder brother zone,” he revealed.

Varun recounted a recent game of padel, where he played against Rohit and Ranbir. While Ranbir is usually friendly with him, Varun noted that the actor joins forces with Rohit whenever they’re together, slipping into what he described as an “elder brother zone.” Despite the playful bullying, Varun took it sportingly and even managed to win two games against the duo.

This isn’t the first time Varun has shared such lighthearted moments. In an earlier interaction during the Pinkvilla Masterclass, the actor spoke about his childhood bond with Salman Khan. Reflecting on his memories, he said Salman has always treated him with warmth, a gesture extended to all children.

Varun recounted one such playful incident: Salman would visit their home and cheekily steal his roti to enjoy with his mother’s famous paneer. “At that age, I wasn’t used to an older person being so playful and naughty with me, but it’s something that continues today,” he shared.
