Varun Dhawan OPENS UP about his MOLESTATION scene!

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's recently released, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' is soaring high on the Box office. The film has already crossed the 100 crore mark and is still running successfully all across!

However, even after receiving great response from all around, the film faced backlash for a particular scene!

There is a molestation scene where Varun is seen getting molested by a group of boys in Bangkok. While the scene was supposed to add humor, it fell into controversy and many people took offense in the way it was portrayed.

For all this while, Varun had maintained silence over the issue but he finally opened up and said,  "Out of 10, if two don't like something, that doesn't count as mass opinion. People who felt that way are entitled to their opinion" and he's totally fine with it.

He added that "It was supposed to be a "funny scene" and "meant to portray how Badri's male ego is being shattered. In 3 Idiots, there's a scene where a character confuses a Hindi word for 'balatkar'. People should have been offended by that as well. We didn't mean to hurt anyone's sentiments and if we did so unknowingly, we apologize."
