Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan grabbed attention with his simple and realistic look in 'Sui Dhaga: Made In India'. The actor who plays the character of a Darzi (tailor), nailed his looks as the trailer hit worldwide. The trailer which made quite a dramatic entrance hit the Youtube with a bang. The meme-famous-face of Anushka Sharma gained attention drastically.
The actor's source of inspiration Noor- trained the actor to play his character. The element of simplicity is what might attract the audience.
During an interaction with DNA, Sui Dhaga's costume designer Darshan Jhalan says, "Mauji is a simple guy from the lower-middle-class income strata who works in the city as a help/peon in a sewing machine store. Regular people on the streets became an inspiration for us."
However, the costume designer believes the dynamics of these skills offer far more perfection and solutions to common problems. "I believe these intricate details make the audience see something new and adds to the authenticity of the character from a small town in India."
Further on calling Noor as an integral part of the film the actor Varun Dhawan adds, "He was my trainer for three months and played a crucial role in helping me portray my character effectively. I'm indebted to him for teaching me the art of sewing and making me a believable tailor on screen. Everything in Sui Dhaga is about being real and that's what the audiences are loving about our trailer. While I'm happy that my look has been well-received, the credit goes to Darshan and obviously Noor, who has left his mark on my character."
