Actor Vaani Kapoor has been in the industry for a long time but it was only recently that she won over fans' hearts and critical acclaim with her performance in the film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. And now, Vaani is now gearing up for another big release, Shamshera alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The actor is playing a dancer and Ranbir's love interest in the period drama.
While, the trailer didn't offer much pertaining to Vaani's role, it gave audiences the glimpses of her effervescent and chirpy characteristics.
Presently, Vaani and Ranbir are going all out and about promoting their film. In light of that, Vaani also had an interaction with the media and she poured out her experience working on the film, the co stars, the director and other stuff.

Pouring her view on this Vaani remarked,
"No yaa, because there is only so much you have seen in the trailer. One must be perceiving way more than one can understand from the trailer or the song that has come out. But there is a lot. There's an entire different arc to my character is all I can say and I can say that with conviction that its a very different film."
Vaani further exclaimed,
"I have seen Thugs Of Hindostan and I have worked in my film and I understand there is a huge difference and there is no comparison as such. She is a wonderful dancer, actor everything and I am glad if you are comparing me, but please compare me to her beauty, I'll be very happy."
"But no, the part is written very differently and the subject and the film is very different from that one"
To be noted, Thugs of Hindostan was released in 2018. It featured Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.
