UPDATE: Sridevi's Mortal Remains to be flown back to India today

The legal procedure is completed and the family can now proceed for embalming.

Legendary actress Sridevi's untimely dismiss has left us shocked and grieved. Little the family knew that the death of Sridevi could turn into a mystery putting husband Boney Kapoor under prosecution.

Earlier reports of a second autopsy were circulated on the social media platforms but a recent update suggests that Sridevi's body will be flown back to India today itself.

The update reads: Dubai Police has handed over the consulate and the family members letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor so that they can proceed for embalming.

Now, it looks like Sridevi's mortal remains will reach India by tonight.

The Chandni actress breathed her last on 24th February at around 11 pm at the Emirates Hotel, Dubai.
