Janhvi Kapoor's latest 'wet' saree look from Cannes screams 'Sridevi' & 'sensuous'

After paying ode to her late mother Sridevi with the Tarun Tahiliani blusj pink outfit with a traditional hood, she is once again here channeling her inner 'Sridevi'. Her latest night look from the French Riveria have been shared and oh boy, we they screaming 'hot'. Taking inspiration from her mom's white sari avatars, Janhi went for a rather bold and skimpy look this time.

Kapoor ate and left no crumbs in a custom white saree by the London-based label Dipetsa, known for its signature "wet look" style. The saree was designed to mimic the effect of soaked fabric, wrapping around her frame like a second skin and giving off an ocean-inspired, mermaid-like vibe. She teamed the unique drape with a stylish off-shoulder blouse that added a touch of modern flair to the traditional outfit.

To break the monotone and add some colour, Janhvi wore a striking lavender choker from Chopard, embellished with dazzling emeralds and diamonds, along with matching stud earrings. Her makeup was fresh and glowy, with a dewy base, shimmery eyes, and glossy nude lips. Keeping the theme consistent, her hair was parted down the middle and styled into a sleek bun with a soft, wet-look finish.

Fans went gaga over this dripping look in the comments section and started pointing out the striking similarity in her look with that of Sridevi from Jaanbaaz's song 'Har Kisi Ko'.
