UNFORTUNATELY our industry is very DEFAMED, says Manjari Fadnis

Our Hindi film industry, due to various unfortunate events, does not hold a good name in the society, reveals Bollywood actress Manjari Fadnis, who started her career with Bollywood film "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na" in 2008.

After making her debut in Bollywood, we didn't see much of her as she got busy with her short films and then with her regional projects. He journey then went on a slow track but the actress considers it a progressive one!

Currently, she is busy with the promotions of her upcoming short film "The Cot". Also, she will soon be seen in Hindi feature movie "Nirdosh.

She says, she is working towards her target "slowly and steadily".

During her interaction with IANS, Manjari said: "It has been very slow but progressive and uphill in a good way. I have met some of the most wonderful people in the industry. I have seen the more good side of the industry than the bad side of it."

"Unfortunately, our industry is very 'badnaam' (defamed). When I wanted to come into the industry, since my family is not from the field, they were sceptical and were really worried about me. None of them wanted me to come into the industry because of the things you keep hearing.

"But then, of course, when I came in I realised that there are bad people everywhere and that is how life is. You have to deal with it. I have had a positive experience here and learnt from my negative experiences. I have had a beautiful journey," she added.

Starring Arbaaz Khan, Ashmit Patel, Manjiri Fadnis, Maheck Chahal and Mukul Dev, "Nirdosh" is all set to hit the silver screens on January 19, 2018.
