Undekhi: The crime-thriller will keep you at the Edge of your Seat!

SonyLIV Originals – Undekhi is an edgy crime thriller which brings out the dark side of the society that we live in. The show makes an impactful statement with its gripping and fast paced narrative by highlighting two spectrums of the society. 

The series is created by Siddharth Sengupta and directed by Ashish R. Shukla and it features an ensemble cast of talented actors - Harsh Chhaya, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Ankur Rathee, Surya Sharma, Anchal Singh, Abhishek Chauhan, Ayn Zoya, Apeksha Porwal and Sayandeep Sen amongst many others. The show will stream on SonyLIV on 10th July. 

The show stars off while showcasing a murder scene at the Jungle of Sundarbans where a bunch of officers are seen investigating the crime. The DCP of the investigation case follows the clues by which he is taken to the beautiful hills of Manali, only to discover yet another horrifying case. In the next few minutes, the viewers are taken to the elite wedding of Daman Atwal and Teji Grewal at Manali's one of the best resorts which is accompanied by a bunch of aspiring filmmakers who are given the contract of shooting the wedding. 

However, what happens next at the wedding will come as a huge shock to the viewers. Will the truth prevail or will the elite-upper class be able to run away from their crime? All these questions will be answered in SonyLIV's 'Undekhi'. 

Undekhi will provide you a wide outlook of our society and will make you question it's two spectrum and the power that lies within the privileged class. The full credit goes to the brilliant writing and narrative of the script which makes the series a compelling watch. The 10 episodes thriller will dwell deep into the murder mystery and will make you wonder till the very end- Will the justice be served?

Each and every character in the series have justified their role upto almost perfection. Surya Sharma as Rinku has been absolutely brilliant, he delivers an impeccable performance with just the right amount of emotion in every scene making it an intense thriller to watch. Abhishek Chauhan is seen as a courageous youngster who wants to do the right thing. His performance as Rishi is extremely convincing and you'll often find yourself rooting for him in the series. Apart from this, Harsh Chhaya as Papaji and Dibyendu Bhattacharya as DCP have been phenomenal and will keep you engaged with the plot throughout the series. 

The series which is shot in the midst of the beautiful locations of Manali will add a bright touch with it's great cinematography and visuals. With a great blend of writing, performance and characters, Undekhi will take you on a rollercoaster ride of thrill, drama and mystery. 

Final Verdict: Undekhi is one such show which will make you keep wanting for more. It's a must watch and it promises to keep you at the edge of your seat.
