Two actresses not getting along is a myth as Pranali and I share a great bond: Karishma Sawant of 'YRKKH'

Star Plus' show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' enjoys a massive fan following and the show is one of the most popular shows on television in the recent times. Every character of the show enjoys an individual fan following glimpses of which can be often seen on their social media handles. 

India Forums got in touch with Karishma Sawant who plays the character of Aarohi in the show and the actress spoke at length about how sometimes faceless people on the internet contradict themselves when they meet her in real life. We asked Karishma about the kind of response she has been getting from the viewers for the current track of the show and the actress said, ''I think the TRP gives us the answers itself. If people are watching our show it means we are doing a good job. But if people are not watching, it means we need to brush up our skills. The thing is, one cannot be perfect. When we go out and these same trolls come to meet us, they hug us and praise our work too. I don't remember anyone  coming up to me and telling me anything about my character but you will see this on social media. So I think we should not trust and rely on Social media completely. I think these faceless people on social media have no work to do and they write anything but when they meet you in real life, they have nothing to say.''

We further asked Aarohi about her camaraderie with her co-stars Harshad and Pranali and the actress said, ''I was a flight attendant before becoming an actress. There is competition in every field. When I was a flight attendant there were people who motivated me but there were also people who brought me down. Before debuting as an actress, I had pre conceived notions about this industry and people would often say that two lead actresses cannot get along well but surprisingly it is nothing like this with me and Pranali and I am so grateful that my debut show has been with DKP productions. Everyone has been supportive. Be it Pranali, Harshad or our production team - nobody tries to pull each other down and we are always there to support each other. We believe we are a team and work like one. These trolls can try their best to create rifts between us but the reality is totally different.''
