On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, "Mission Raniganj." In this film, he reunites with Parineeti Chopra, his co-star from "Kesari." Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Pooja Entertainment, the movie is based on the 1989 Raniganj Coalfields collapse in West Bengal, with Vipul K Rawal as the writer.
