We all have seen our mothers and elder ladies from the family coming together to prepare sweets and snacks for Diwali, the festival that brings the light of joy and guess what's more fun? sharing the snacks with our loved ones. So, Diwali is incomplete without the delicious snacks.

Our favorite TV characters are just like these Diwali farsaan, filled with different flavors. So, this Diwali we have made a list of TV characters who reminds us of different Diwali snacks :

Barfi : Ishita Bhalla (Divyanka Tripathi) from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Barfi, as we know is a famous Indian sweet made with milk and sugar and TV's much loved bahu, Ishita is one such character who is filled with sweetness. No matter how bad the situation is, she handles everything in the sweetest way possible.

Namkeen : Suhasini Goenka or Daadi (Swati Chitnis) from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Namkeen is a crisp snack, slightly salty in taste which remind us of Dadi from Yeh Rishta..., Hers, is a character who is a good human but her thoughts are pretty old school. At times, she is strict & stubborn and unknowingly creates trouble for Naira but at the end, all she wants is, good for her family.

Gujiya or Karanjee : Shivaay Singh Oberoi (Nakuul Mehta) from Ishqbaaaz

Gujiya is crisp dumpling stuffed with sweetened khoya or coconut which is crisp and hard from the outside and sweet from the inside just like the handsome Oberoi brother, Shivaay from Ishqbaaaz. He pretends to be hard-shelled who only cares about his business and family, on the contrary, he is an adorable person who is extremely kind and loving. This trait of Shivaay adds to the beauty of Shivaay and Anika's sweet and sour relationship.

Gol Kachori : Jethalal Gada (Dilip Joshi) from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Jethalal Champaklal Gada, the man who always lands in some or the other trouble has traits similar to Kachori. Even, his belly looks like a gol kachori. Jokes apart, Gol Kachoris are crisp and crunchy snack balls stuffed with different flavours of spices, it is a mix of sweet, sour and spicy flavours just like our favorite Jethalal. He is sweet and kind with everyone, especially with Babita ji, he is sour when someone bullies him and spicy when he gets angry.

Chakli : Komolika (Hina Khan) from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2

Chakli, as we all know is a snack which is spiral shaped with a spiked surface, it is usually spicy and known for it's shape. Think of chakli and only one name comes to our mind, the gorgeous Komolika from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. She makes people go around and after her, she is cunning and never goes the right way.
