TRP ratings from 7 Dec to 14 Dec 2011

Today is WEDNESDAY!!! The day the Television industry gets its results for their last week's performance. The day can be termed as terrific or a terrible for any show based on its performance. It makes us realize about the role TRP's play in the decision making of the show.

TellyBuzz has never really given a complete detailed report on the TRPs of the shows that are running on television today. But today we thought the viewers have the right to know if the show they are watching is really watched a majority of the people sitting at home. Hence, TellyBuzz brings to you this week's top 10 television shows.

Saath Nibhana Saathiya who has been ruling the charts after the launch still holds ground with the highest TRP of 7.0.

Following that is Sumeet Mittal's Diya Aur Baati Hum with a 5.3 TRP.

At number three is recently launched show by Siddhart Malhotra, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain with a TRP of 4.3

The unique combination of Ram Kapoor and Saakshi Tanwar continues to work for the popular Balaji show Bade Acche Laggte Hai.  The show is rated at 4.1

The followers of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? need not be disappointed as the show is running strong giving tough competition to Bade... with a TRP of 4.

Rajan Shahi's Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai maintains its position in top ten and is still going strong with a 3.8 TRP. On the same rating we have the roller-coaster show Sasural Simar Ka.

Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya maintains its run in the competition with a TRP of 3.1

Though Sasural Genda Phool saw a drop in their graph, the still holds its name in the top ten shows with a TRP of 2.9

Seems like Pavitra Rishta has no intention to come out of the top ten list, as the show is heading strong with a TRP of 2.7. Though there has been a visible dip in the TRP with Manav's replacement, let's see how the show post-leap.

At the tenth position Rajshri Productions' family entertainer Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli with a  TRP of 2.6

These are the TRP listings for this week. With Star Plus' shows leading the chart, the channel still stands at #1 with 350 GEC points and right behind them is Sony TV with 227 GEC points.

The ratings are never dormant and there are unexpected changes every week. Let us see how the graph changes for the shows next week. Keep watching this space for more.
