Toxic and KGF star Yash urges fans to celebrate his birthday mindfully; says, 'It's a time for reflection'

Kannada superstar Yash will be turning a year older on January 8. Fans are looking forward to his period mafia film Toxic that will be directed by Geetu Mohandas. South superstar, Yash, has written a letter where he has asked his fans to exercise caution while celebrating his birthday. He told his fans that they deserved to prioritize themselves instead of going overboard with his birthday celebrations. In the past few years, we have seen few fans losing their lives as they indulged in activities honouring the KGF actor.

Yash, addressed his fans in a letter on Instagram. He wrote, “As the new year dawns, it's a time for reflection, resolutions, and charting a new course. The love you all have showered on me over the years has been nothing short of phenomenal. But, there have been some unfortunate incidents too.” This comes after the Sandhya Theatre Stampede case where a woman lost her life while her child in critical. They had come to see Allu Arjun. While the above incident in more recent, three fans in Gadag district of Karnataka died while making a huge cutout of the star on his birthday last year. He had later met the families of the fans and offered his condolences.

Yash sends a message for his fans

In the letter, he further wrote, “It's time for us to change our language of love, especially when it comes to the celebration of my birthday. The expression of your love should not be in grand gestures and gatherings. The greatest gift for me is knowing you are safe, setting positive examples, achieving your goals, and spreading joy.”

He said that he will be busy shooting and not in Bengaluru at that period. Yash said he will be touched by the immense love of his fans. He called them inspirational. As of now, he is busy with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups.

Yash had told fans not to indulge in elaborate activities on his birthday whether they’re putting up banners, going on bike chases, and selfies. The star said that he would be the happiest if he saw his fans healthy and doing well in life.
