'Torbaaz' director Girish's 17-year son dies after falling from the 5th floor

An unanticipated piece of news came in and it is as unfortunate as it gets related to director Girish Malik. The director, who is best remembered for directing Torbaaz has lost his son, Mannan. 

The boy fell from the fifth floor of his building. Whether he himself jumped or something else happened, is still not known.

The building is Oberoi Springs, opposite Fame Adlabs. Mannan resided in the A-Wing.

Report says that Mannan had gone to play Holi and he returned home sometime in the afternoon. Mannan was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, but he did not survive.

A visit to Oberoi Springs by this journalist revealed that the unfortunate incident happened a few minutes after 5 pm.

When contacted, Girish Malik’s partner in Torbaaz, Puneet Singh confirmed the sad news. “ Mr. Malik’s son has passed away but I cannot say anything at the moment about what exactly happened. We are not in a state to speak,” he concluded.
