The Kapoor & Sons trio Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt will record a song in their own voices as well as film a song for their upcoming love triangle.

Kapoor and Sons is a love triangle with Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan competing for Alia in the movie.

A source says that there are no references they have heard a few tracks and have asked for fresh ones as well from music directors. The source further added that the track will have a fun and energetic vibe.

Director Shakun Batra confirms this saying, "Yes, currently we are in the process of locking a track. Karan has some exciting ideas for the promotional unit and I am looking forward to getting to shoot with all of them again."
