Delhi Tamil Education Association (DTEA) is one of the most prestigious government-aided minority associations in New Delhi. It has seven branches in the prime localities in the capital. It is proud to have completed a history of over 100 years of academic excellence and character-building.
On this particular occasion, the Bollywood stalwarts and veteran actress Hema Malini and Film Director Anand Kumar, who passed out from this school in the year 1962 and 1989 batch, were felicitated with the prestigious Achievers Award from Bollywood.
Film Director Anand Kumar was overwhelmed to receive this facilitation. He adds, "I have no words to express my gratitude to the school authorities who chose me for this facilitation on completing 100 years of successful journey of the school. It is a moment of absolute pride and honour to receive this award along with Hema Ji, who also belongs to the same school."
