An Indian daily soap is incomplete without an antagonist, in this case, a vamp. A female antagonist is a must for every show. She increases the drama quotient as well as the glam quotient of any show. (all vamps these days are fashionistas as well)
Even though the role of vamps in their shows is to make the audience hate them, we have a few such vamps that are hated, yet loved by the audience.
Tellybuzz brings to you a few vamps of Indian Television, who just compels one to love them for their hot looks and sassy spirit.
Maheck made her television debut as a vamp in Colors Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se and she is rocking it completely. She plays the main antagonist Manjulika, who wants to keep the beloved lead pair of Paridhi (Mona Jaswir Singh) and Rajbeer (Vivek Dahiya) apart. Generally, such vamps are not appreciated, but Manjulika seems to have already created a space for herself in the hearts of the audience.

Anita started her stint in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as the evil ex-wife of Raman Bhalla (Karan Patel), Shagun. But then Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and her ways changed Shagun and the audience accepted her whole-heartedly. Anita's positive stint in the show was very much loved by the audience that even though her character Shagun is show-casing grey traits, viewers are not ready to hate her again.

We all got the shock of our lives when Shesha (Adaa) turned negative in Colors' much loved Naagin. But then Adaa has the brilliant knack of pulling off the sweet sister act as well as the scheming and conniving obsessive naagin, who was in love with her brother-in-law.

Aashka Goradia played the Mahavinashi Pari in SAB TV's show Balveer. But then, Aashka is ane such actress who can portray scheming roles to the T. For instance, Aashka initially played the loving Badi Maa to Maharana Pratap (Faisal Khan) but then turned completely negative.
Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar

When Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar) turned negative in Swaragini, her fans could not digest the same fact. And when they were just getting used to it, makers decided to turn Ragini positive again. Nevertheless, fans of the actress were not bothered by her transformation and continued to lend their support to the actress.
These vamps are a figment of creativity at the end of the day. They are not what they play in real life. And that is one of the reasons why their fans love them immensely, irrespective of what role they play in their reel life.
