Taapsee Pannu Hails Jaya Bachchan’s Befitting Reply to the Defamatory remarks against Bollywood!

Actor and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan has once again made it to the headlines for an appropriate and befitting reply for defamatory remarks made against the film industry. Many stood in solidarity with the veteran actress for her quick and smashing reply at the second day of the Monsoon Session in Parliament. 

Now, Taapsee Pannu has reacted to the same and took to her Twitter handle to praise Jaya Bachchan for standing up to people in the entertainment industry. 

Taapsee shared a video of Jaya Bachchan’s speech in the Rajya Sabha, and wrote, "For we have always stood by the initiatives, causes and awareness campaigns. It’s time for payback. Hitting the nail on its head and how ! yet again a woman from the industry spoke up Folded hands #Respect"

In her speech Jaya Bachchan said, “People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree. I hope that the government tells such people not to use this kind of language.” Elaborating further, she added, “Just because there are some people, you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame.”

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut quickly responded to Jaya Bachchan's speech and asked her what would she do if the tables turned and her children were subjected to harassment and bullying?
