Taapsee Pannu is quite the boss lady. Right from her unconventional yet powerful movies to bold opinions, she does not shy away from raising her voice for the right reasons. She often gets trolled for her outspoken behaviour but knows how to deal with the nasty comments and gives it back to them like a boss.

In the wake of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood celebrities have come forward to provide help by contributing their bit to the PM Cares Fund.  Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Anushka Sharma, Kapil Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Guru Randhawa, Sara Ali Khan among many others have donated to the relief fund.

Taapsee, on the other hand, became the target of the trolls over her contribution towards the Coronavirus Relief Fund. However, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress revealed that it was her conscious decision to not talk about her donation.

Taapsee said:

Yes. I’ve done my bit for my personal satisfaction and not for attention. Charity is a personal choice and shouldn’t be peer pressure. Those who talk about how much they have donated to encourage others is again a personal choice. As it is we get so much attention and love for the work we do as actors. So when I payback, I don’t want to announce it.

And reacting to the trolls who slammed her for remaining silent about her contribution, Taapsee said she remains unaffected by such trolls. Here’s Taapsee’s befitting reply to all trolls:

Yes, I got trolled for this as well and people wrote nasty things and say that she didn’t do anything. Just because I didn’t announce or make a big article about it or I didn’t copy-paste my bank receipt doesn’t mean that I’m not doing it. I did it for my personal satisfaction, all this name-calling isn’t going to affect me.

Meanwhile, the Coronavirus pandemic has raised tension across the globe. A staggering number of 1,700,870 cases have been reported worldwide with 102,789 number of deaths that have occurred due to the virus as of April 11 2020.
