Suspicion towards Sushant's Twitter Account Raises, Police to Send Letter to Twitter to get Details of his Deleted Tweets

Sushant Singh Rajput left for heavenly abode on June 14, 2020. The actor took his own life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. His death has left the whole nation shocked and his fans and well-wishers across the globe have demanded for a CBI inquiry into the case as it is difficult for them to believe that their favorite star can take his own life.

The 34-year-old did not leave any suicide note and this raised a lot of concerns and many suspected foul play in his death. Owing to which the Mumbai Police decided to not just rely on the post mortem report that stated 'death due to hanging' but to also explored other angles that might have instigated the young talent to take the drastic step of ending his life.

The Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh too assured everyone that the Mumbai Police will thoroughly investigate professional rivalry angle in Sushant's case. In his tweet which he posted on June 15, 2020, Anil wrote: "While the post mortem report says actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself, there are media reports that he allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry. Mumbai Police will probe this angle too."

Over the last few days, following Sushant's demise, Police officials have interrogated a lot of people who were close to the late actor. They have recorded statements of friends, colleagues, house help staff, creative manager, one of his closest friends and ex-publicist, Rohini Iyer, his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and a few more (whose identities haven't been disclosed).

Now, as per fresh reports, Police are suspicious over Sushant's twitter account and are all set to conduct a thorough investigation on it. 

A report in Pinkvilla states that the police has asked Twitter about Sushant Singh Rajput’s posts on Twitter for the last six months. From his Twitter account, it can be seen that Sushant last posted on Twitter on December 27, 2019; and now police suspects that the posts may have been deleted since then.

The report also states that the police will be sending a letter to Twitter to ask them the details and to monitor Sushant’s activities in the past on Twitter.
