Even though the saga of Sushant Singh Rajput continues to gain a lot of momentum and everything seemed a development so far, things are finally a lot clearer. Actor Rhea Chakraborty was recently involved in an expose-styled interview with India Today, where clarified every possible thing attached to the case and one of the things that she mentioned acquired further attention,

The depression angle of Rajput has been the talking point all this while and inspite of a range of people not agreeing to it, Chakraborty and a fe others continue to stress on it. In the interview, Chakraborty broke down and said, "Sushant had depression and anxiety and he, himself, wanted to meet a specialist. We met a range of top professionals ever since. However, one of the biggest factors in his depression times was him losing his mother. He loved and was extremely close to his mother and, in fact, his mother also faced depression and passed away after that. This became one of the driving factors for Sushant to be depressed even more and he was just uanable to process that and how he cannot live without her."
