Sushant Singh Rajput Was To Get Married in November, Reveals Family Member

The year 2020 has been disastrous for Bollywood. The industry lost some of the very talented actors like Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, singer Wajid Khan and now the news of Sushant Singh Rajput has sent all his industry friends and family in utter shock.

Sushant, 34, hanged himself at his Bandra house in Mumbai. Reportedly, the actor was battling with depression for the last six months and was taking anti-depressant pills as well. His close friends and house help also inform that the actor was disturbed for a long time. 

The unfortunate and untimely demise of the talented actor has shattered his friends, family and fans all across the globe. While the news of Sushant’s suicide has come as a shock to many, the actor’s maternal uncle who lives in Patna, Bihar believes that the young actor cannot commit suicide and was murdered. He is of the opinion that there is a conspiracy behind Sushant’s death.

In another piece of a shocking revelation, Sushant’s cousin brother informed India TV that the actor was to get married in November and the family was gearing up for the wedding preparations.

While Sushant’s brother did not mention the girl’s name to whom Sushant was getting married to, the report states that the family was planning to visit Mumbai after the lockdown and the wedding was planned to be a private affair with only close friends and family in attendance.

Sushant was earlier dating his co-star Ankita Lokhande, however, the couple parted ways in 2016. Post that, he has been linked with actressRhea Chakraborty. While the duo did not confirm their relationship in public, the couple was spotted frequently at dinner dates and outings. 

Last year, the two lovebirds even jetted off to Paris for a romantic getaway, and they even delighted their fans with a sneak peek into their happy holiday by posting pictures on their social media. 

Recently, talking about their rumoured relationship, Rhea had told Times of India that know each other for eight years and are really good friends. She had added that she finds Sushant cute and attractive but does not know what he thinks about her.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral will take place on June 15 2020, Monday in Mumbai. The actor’s last rites will take place on Monday at Pawan Hans crematorium in suburban Vile Parle. Owing to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, only close family members and friends will be allowed to attend the funeral.

Yesterday, the actor’s sister Nitu Singh had rushed to the hospital, and his father arrived in Mumbai from Patna for the funeral. However, the actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti will be flying from the US and will reach Mumbai on June 16 2020.

On Sunday, June 14, Sushant took the drastic step of ending his life and committed suicide at his house. The police found no note or message and the police had sent his body to Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai for a post-mortem.

After conducting a post-mortem, the Cooper Hospital has released an advance certificate on Monday stating asphyxia due to hanging as the cause of his death in the report. The autopsy report has said prima facie it has been found that it is a case of suicide. His viscera samples have been preserved for chemical analysis and will be sent to the forensic science laboratory. He has also tested negative for COVID-19.

On the work front, Sushant had a successful run in television with shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008), and Pavitra Rishta (2009–11). Later in 2013, he made his movie debut with the buddy drama Kai Po Che! and received worldwide recognition with the sports biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016) and then went on to star in the commercially successful films Kedarnath (2018) and Chhichhore (2019).

Sushant's last film before he died is Mukesh Chhabra's film Dil Bechara, that will be released digitally. Based on John Green's 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars, the film also marks the debut of Sanjana Sanghi.
