Sushant Singh Rajput case: Former business manager Shruti modi summoned by ED today; Siddharth Pithani called for August 8

Sushant Singh Rajput's case received a nod for CBI probe and while it has come as a welcome move from everyone, the probe is underway. Girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and is supposed to present before them today. Meanwhile, her request for postponing the hearing until after her plea for transferring the case to Mumbai is heard has been rejected by ED.

And now, the latest update regarding the summons made by ED is that Singh's ex-manager Shruti Modi will be probed today. Meanwhile, the actor's neighbour and friend, Siddharth Pithani has been summoned for tomorrow i.e. August 8, 2020. As of now, ED is looking into the money laundering angle post an FIR was filed by Sushant's father, KK Singh.

Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide on June 14, 2020, and after all these weeks of investigation, Sushant's family only heaved a sigh of relief once it received a nod for a CBI probe.
