Renowned actor director Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently making headlines. There have been rumors that he may be taking the reins as director for a film featuring actor Suriya. Yes you heard that right. The film is said to be based on the life of Rajan Pillai, who was known as the "Biscuit King" of India.
Recently, there speculations were rife that Prithviraj would only be acting in the film, which was initially planned to be a web series instead of a movie. Earlier reports indicated that Prithviraj would be making his digital debut as the lead in a biographical drama on Rajan Pillai. However, new reports now suggest that Prithviraj is actually directing the film and that Suriya will be playing the lead role.
While Siddharth Anand Kumar, Vice President of Saregama India, has given confirmation that their ambitious project is currently in progress, with extensive research and script work being carried out. However, it is still uncertain whether the project will take the form of a movie or web series, and there is no information yet about the involvement of either Prithviraj Sukumaran or Suriya as an actor.
The talented actor-director is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming Bollywood project Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, in Mumbai. He is playing the lead antagonist Kabir in the film, which features Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the titular roles.
