Director Suparn Verma, who is gearing up for the release of his horror film "Aatma", is eager to explore the zombie genre in future.

"I would definitely want to make a zombie film. Zombie films certainly have a bright future, there are 'Go Goa Gone' and Luke Kenny's 'Rise of Zombie' coming up. Sadly, it wasn't finished on time and is releasing now," Verma told IANS.

"I have some interesting ideas running in my mind right now I would definitely want to explore the zombie genre. I am the biggest horror buff and will make a film in this genre soon," he added.

Verma revealed that he has also played a small role in "Go Goa Gone", produced by Saif Ali Khan.

"Yes, I have played a small role in 'Go Goa Gone' I am not playing a Zombie, though it is an interesting part. I have a small cameo in 'Aatma' as well," he said.

The director is very confident about his film 'Aatma' and says it will surely work for the audience.

"I am extremely confident about my film 'Aatma' and I am sure this film will work for the audience. This is one of the reasons that gives me confidence to make 'Aatma 2'," said Verma.

"Aatma" features Bipasha Basu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is slated for March 22 release.
