#Stylebuzz: Television's Favourite Stylists Give A Lowdown On Trends For 2018

Mouni Roy, Anita Hassanandani, Sriti Jha and Krystle Dsouza's Stylists' Fashion Forecast

With new year round the corner, it's time that we look forward to the new beginnings, not just in life but also in our cute little style bubble. This would thereby help us embracing ourselves with the knowledge of all the trends that will create a wave in the style sphere of 2018. Therefore before it is the 31st and the clock strikes 12, where 7 gets replaced by 8, here's unveiling Fashion's upcoming fate.

Giving us an insight, we have got some talented professionals on our dial list. Television's favourite actresses' stylists, give us a neat lowdown on the upcoming trends, that will not just dominate the retail and couture world but also the Instagram handles of their celebrity client list.

First up, the talent behind Anita Hassanandani and Krystle Dsouza's elegance, Shreya Juneja took us through the colours that will be splashed on every display window to that little detail that will make it big.

"Soft-and-romantic lavenders, dusty pinks and nudes will sure be the colours in the coming year for both, casual as well as the evening party wear scene."
She also went on to comforting us by assuring the popularity of classic prints like florals, stripes and polka dots."They will never fade."
Returning to the party scene, Shreya promised the revamp of all things bling. "The regular sequenced dresses will get revamped into sparkly striped ones, while fringe dresses and embellished straps for the night will make a smashing debut. For 2018, girls must invest in sharp pantsuits, cool jumpsuits and asymmetric silhouettes, while paying special attention to puff shoulders, sweetheart necklines and asymmetric cutout dresses."

Sriti Jha and Mouni Roy's stylist, Ankita Patel had a rather artsy prediction of the future of Sartorial world. "All the trends in coming year, will be high on eccentric prints and art work as well along with cool graphic designs. One can use interesting texts, big-and-bold florals and the classic retro inspired prints to keep their wardrobe fun and fresh." Ankita enlightened us about the fading future of faded and torn denims,"Dark coloured bottoms will bask in the glory of a bright future, while dark hues will become the new black!"
Further talking about the embellishments on the dresses in the next season, Ankita was dead-sure about the inclusion of over-the-topfringes, crazy ruffles, fun feathers and pom-pom details along with the colour, lavender. "Make sure to own a couple of lavender dresses for the spring holidays. Shades of pink from blush to fuschia will also be on top of every fashionista's style game in 2018. Chic checks which recently entered the fashion field, must be loaded in your work wardrobe."

Aashka Goradia's stylist Nida Shah's take was for all the impulsive dressers."I feel style is personal and eternal. It is an art form that has to be used to one's advantage and needs. I genuinely have a strong belief in the saying 'less is more'. Rather than following the trends, everyone should focus on styling themselves in comfortable garbs while also incorporating pretty pastel shades and quirky prints."
Explaining the shapes of silhouettes, she said,"Deconstructed and draped silhouettes will be the thing in western wear, while the pant sari will be in Indian. And that's exactly what I am going to include for my clients."
