Stars galore at the launch of Restaurant 'The Laughing Cavalier'

Saturday night is the night to party. And what better than to party and feast together! Stars from the telly world stormed the newly launched restaurant 'The Laughing Cavalier' in Malad. The owner and popular chef of famous restaurants like Mangi Ferra and Taxi Rest hosted the party, Mr. Vijayraj Chauhan , this being his latest venture. The posh and interestingly furnished décor was a pleasant sight with every part of the interiors being a topic of discussion among the guests.

The rather unique name of the restaurant is based on the famous painting by artist Frans Hals and the cuisine served were some heavy snacks prepared in mouthwatering Italian style. Christmas decorations were also adorned to keep up the spirit of the season and over exquisite dishes and drinks, the guests were having a whale of a time. The party that started off late saw actors Nasir Qazi, Rajeev Kumar, Sachin Shroff, Aanchal walk in first. Other celebs who followed were Rajesh Thakkar and Vandana, Amit Behl, Anupam Bhattacharya, Mreenal Deshraj, Simple Kaul etc. Rakesh Paul minus beau walked in with Shruti Ulfat. Newly wed Nikkhil Aryawas spotted with wife and friend/photographer Jitu Savlani. Actor Sooraj Thapar and Jasveet Kaur were among the last ones to enter. Some stand up jokes were cracked for which a podium was also built, followed by dancing to great foot tapping music.

The main area of discussion was the speculations over which of the two jodi's would win Nach Baliye3 that was taking place simultaneously. All in all, the guests were in high spirits with all of them promising to come back soon.
