SSMB29: SS Rajamouli has two options for Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra's movie?

SS Rajamouli’s movie SSMB29 is making news daily. After unverified reports, it is finally confirmed that Priyanka Chopra has chosen the film to make her big comeback in Indian cinema. Her last project was The Sky Is Pink (2016) with Farhan Akhtar. As per latest reports, SS Rajamouli has two titles in mind for his ambitious movie. One of them is Garuda while the other is Maharaj. It seems he is more keen on the latter Maharaj as it fits the essence of the movie. Maharaj is also easy to recall for mass audience. But there is still time for the makers to announce the official title. It can be something else for all we know.

Priyanka Chopra has filmed parts in the Aluminium Factory of Hyderabad, which is a prime shooting location. The desi girl will then head to Europe for a long shoot of 15-20 days. She is playing the main villain of the movie. It seems the plot of the movie is heavily inspired by the storylines of British-South African writer Wilbur Addison Smith. His thriller novels are rescue missions that fight against terrorism and involve heavy duty action. SS Rajamouli is also planning to explore fresh locations for the film.

They will be shooting across Africa and in the forests of Kenya as well. Very few Indian movies have captured the African wilderness besides Neil Nitin Mukesh’s Shortcut Romeo that showed the African savannahs. There is a strict non-disclosure agreement that SS Rajamouli has made the cast and crew sign for this film.
