SS Rajamouli, the creator of cult films like Baahubali, RRR is now busy with the Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer. The team was recently in the forests of Odisha for a long schedule. SS Rajamouli is going to blend mythology, adventure and action in this movie that will release in Summer 2007. The filmmaker has plans to shoot it in exotic locales in India and abroad. Also, the backdrop of the movie is Kashi. Earlier, SS Rajamouli had plans to make it in two parts like Baahubali but it seems he has cancelled that idea now.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, SS Rajamouli has plans to narrate the film in an unconventional manner. Fans will remember how Baahubali’s first part ended in a cliff-hanger. Everyone wanted to know what would happen further. A source said that while he began the trend of narrating a story in two parts, SS Rajamouli wants to tell the whole tale of SSMB28 in a single film. The source was quoted as saying, “SSR feels that the two-part storytelling has been misused by a lot of filmmakers, where projects are dragged for monetary gains. He is stepping out of the rat race by restructuring his screenplay in a single-part storytelling format. Much like RRR, this one too unfolds with a runtime of 3 hours and 30 minutes.”

It seems he made up his mind to narrate the whole film in one part keeping in mind the screenplay of the same. SS Rajamouli does not want to make a movie that feels unnecessarily overstretched for the audience. There is a definite start, middle and end to the action adventure movie.

This might also be the longest film of his career with a run-time of over three hours and 30 minutes, which was the length of RRR. However, the filmmaker has many elements in the movie that come together making for a layered narrative.
