Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu’s SSMB29 is the movie that is dominating headlines. It seems the shoot has already started. After Priyanka Chopra landed in Hyderabad, SS Rajamouli first did the look tests with the actress. Then, they had a script reading workshop. As per sources, the shoot of SSMB29 is happening at the Aluminium Factory of Hyderabad. They will continue the shoot at Ramoji Film City for the next few days. The first big foreign schedule will happen in Europe for 15 days. SS Rajamouli had initially planned to shoot in the jungle locations of Africa and South America.

SSMB29 will be made on a budget of over Rs 600 crores. This is Priyanka Chopra’s big comeback to Indian movies. She had organized a special screening of RRR in the US. In fact, when initial reports had come of her doing the movie no one from her team confirmed them. Priyanka Chopra has finished her work on The Bluff, Heads Of State and Citadel 2. She has been vocal that she wants to do more desi projects. Priyanka Chopra was keen to do a movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali but things did not work out.

SS Rajamouli and his father have been developing the script for years now. He is aiming for a movie that is on the lines of Indiana Jones. SSMB29 will be packed with action, drama and adventure. The character will be inspired by Lord Hanuman. Today, he shared a pic with his passport and a lion in the background. Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra reacted on the same.

Priyanka is a global face and perfect for SS Rajamouli to take his movies to the international shores. It seems more Asian actors will be cast in the film. There were rumours of how he was keen to rope in Kareena Kapoor Khan but she did not have the dates.
