Spirit: Prabhas and Triptii Dimri to start filming in this month, confirms Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has announced that his film Spirit, featuring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, is scheduled to begin filming in September 2025. This information was shared during a conversation with Vijay Deverakonda and Gowtam Tinnanuri on the Sithara Entertainments YouTube channel. Vanga also mentioned that Spirit will have a continuous shooting schedule.

Recent reports indicate Sandeep Reddy Vanga's decision to remove Deepika Padukone from Spirit. Allegedly, her requests for an eight-hour workday, a significant salary, and a share of the film's profits were not accepted by Vanga. The actress, who is a new mother, aimed to balance her professional and personal life by reducing her working hours. This led to her exit from the project, which would have been her second collaboration with Prabhas, following their work on "Kalki 2898 AD."

Following Deepika’s exit, Triptii Dimri was confirmed to play a part in the film. The actress confirmed her role as the female lead in ‘Spirit’ on Saturday through a post on social media. She posted a picture of the title poster with her name in various Indian and international languages. Expressing her gratitude, she wrote, “Still sinking in… So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @sandeepreddy.vanga… Honoured to be a part of your vision."

Reports from Rangasthalam indicate that Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in collaboration with Harshavardhan Rameshwar, has already finalized the musical compositions for Spirit.

Spirit, a highly anticipated action drama produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, is expected to be released in 2027. The film, which will feature Prabhas in a new role, has generated significant excitement among fans.

Earlier, a source close to the project revealed, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga wants to shoot for Spirit in a certain way and has requested Prabhas to acquire a lean physique. The idea is to ensure most stunts are performed by Prabhas himself. The Rebel Star is excited about the challenge and is working closely with Sandeep to mold himself into the character."

Following Spirit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will begin work on Animal Park, the sequel to his 2023 film Animal. Fans are highly anticipating Spirit, eager to see the collaboration between Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas.
