Iconic Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam recently inaugurated a blood donation camp in Juhu, and he even donated his blood as a token of goodwill. Shortly after sharing the pictures through his official social media handle, the actor came under public scrutiny for donating blood without wearing a mask.
However, the actor had an equally savage and noteworthy reply for all the criticism he received for not wearing a mask, while India is reeling in the fury of novel coronavirus.
“He still doesn’t get it after so many people dying from corona wear your mask sonu,” one Facebook user wrote. “You are donating blood, good, that doesn't mean you have to open your mask and get clicked. Your face will not change with mask. It might disappear without mask,” another said. Many others dropped similar comments.
Reacting to the criticism, Sonu commented, “For the Einstiens here, let me answer you in the language you deserve. Saale gadhon (donkeys), ullu ke patthon (Idiots), one is not allowed to wear a mask while donating blood. Kitna giroge saale leftists (How low will you stoop, you Leftists)?”
