Soni Razdan supports Rhea Chakraborty: “She was an innocent victim of a very twisted design”

On Monday, Alia Bhatt’s mother and veteran actress Soni Razdan stood in support of Rhea Chakraborty and stated that she will do very well in Bollywood.

In response to a Twitter user’s comment that stated “Rhea has possibly lost any chance at a career in Bollywood”, Soni defended the young actress and called her “an innocent victim of a very twisted design.”

Soni wrote: “She going to to jail has clearly exposed only the people who sent her there and shown that she was an innocent victim of a very twisted design. Why won’t anyone work with her ? I think she will do very well. I hope so anyway.”

Rhea Chakraborty was mired in a dramatic series of events post the untimely death of her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput. She came under the scanner after Rajput’s father K K Singh filed a FIR against her for abetment of suicide. She was later arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau under charges of procurement and consumption of drugs. Rhea spent one month in jail, and is now out on bail.

Meanwhile, Rhea is all set to make her comeback in movies and her upcoming film Chehre starring Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi will be hitting the theatres in 2021.
