Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya's Son Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Last week, Bollywood's Bachchan family tested positive for Coronavirus. Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with daughter Aaradhya are admitted in the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai after they tested positive for the novel virus.

Now, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya's son, Dhruv Bhattacharya has tested positive for COVID-19. 

Abhijeet confirmed the same while speaking to a news portal. Reportedly, the singer's son is a restaurateur and was supposed to travel abroad. As per rules, it is compulsory to get a COVID-19 test done before flying abroad. 

So, Dhruv underwent a voluntary test and tested positive for Coronavirus. Soon after the results came out, he quarantined himself at home.

"Dhruv was planning to travel abroad, and since there is a rule to get tested for coronavirus before travelling, he went for a voluntary test. He is asymptomatic. He has just a little cold and cough" Abhijeet told Indian Express.

Meanwhile Abhijeet Bhattacharya also underwent the tests and has tested negative for Coronavirus. He is currently shooting in Kolkata.
